Editorial standards
Source hierarchy
Site and manufacturer documents control equipment claims. OSHA and applicable workplace standards control employer safety obligations. CDC supports decorative-fountain water-management guidance. EPA-registered pesticide labeling controls product use. Authorities having jurisdiction and utilities control local requirements.
Variable claims
Licenses, qualified trades, safety procedures, energy sources, equipment sequences, settings, pressures, chemicals, doses, discharges, freeze thresholds, inspections, and acceptance criteria require current direct sources.
AI use
Software and AI may organize research. They are not authorities. Sources must be opened and checked. We do not create fictitious contractors, engineers, procedures, specifications, testimonials, or citations.
Commercial independence
Paid material, when available, is independent planning, not an official safety program, equipment procedure, manufacturer approval, chemical label, permit, or engineering plan.
Corrections and retirement
Material errors are corrected promptly. Pages are retired when sources cannot support them. The original generated pages were retired under this rule.
